How does your service work?
We give you creative control to produce a high-quality, low-cost television commercial. As the director of your commercial, you can customize your advertisement to best represent your business. Upload photos of your product, business, and logo; plus, choose from over 15,000 royalty-free stock videos, image clips, and music files to incorporate into your spot. Finally, decide who should be the voice of your business—select the voiceover artist who will tell viewers why your product is right for them.
The entire ordering process takes place in our unique Commercial Creator Studio. In addition to choosing media for your advertisement, you can write out text for your titles and a script for your voiceover artist. The final step: produce a virtual edit of your spot. Review the components of your commercial and simply click, drag, and drop each into the correct sequence. The TV-ready version of your advertisement will be ready in a matter of days.
Once you submit and pay for your order, our editing team will build your spot and email you a digital sample. Log in to your personal Commercial Creator account to review our work. Then, let us know if we need to make any changes to your spot or mark your order as Ready to Ship.
We will provide a DVD copy of the commercial and a broadcast-ready Beta SP tape for your cable provider or if you are distrubuting your commercial online only, we will send you a quicktime movie ready for download

How long does it take to order a commercial?
Once your photos are on your computer and you know what you want the voiceover to say, the ordering process can take as little as 10-15 minutes. We recommend you put a lot of thought into the creative end of your commercial. After all, you are the director.

How long does it take to receive my commercial once I order?
Once you have completed submitting your order, commercials typically take a maximum of one business week to complete. At this time we will notify you that you can view your commercial online by logging into your user account. You can list any necessary changes or verify that the order is ready to be shipped. Once verified as complete, we send your order out to be converted to Beta SP and will ship the product to you. This process typically takes an additional business week. If you are in a rush we will try our best to complete the order as quickly as possible. Please be sure to pay for rushed shipment at checkout.

What do I need to do before I order my commercial?
Absolutely nothing. All you need to do is pick a package. If you can't decide on all of your creative details right away, we give you up to two weeks to log in and complete your order. Just fill in all necessary information at the time of your order and fill in the rest later. If you want to do everything at once, you will need to have decided on your package, your add-ons, and all of your creative decisions. This will include choosing all photos or videos, deciding what your voiceover will say, and planning your titles. If you want two weeks to decide, you can still upload your photos, write your voiceover text, titles, or assemble your virtual edit. Anything in the Virtual Edit tab of the order can be filled in later. Stock images, stock video, music, and voiceover artists must be picked at the time of order.

What kind of camera do I need to submit my own photos?
Any 35mm still camera and most digital still cameras will do.
If you have a digital camera:
We recommend a camera of at least 2 megapixels, though anything less is rare anymore. Please take the photos at the best possibly quality.
Please make sure the file sizes aren't too large. A photo should be no larger than 2 to 3 MB. If your image is any more than this please check the size of the image. Standard television resolution is 720 X 540. Ideally, the images should be at least double or triple this size so that we can pan and zoom without compromising the quality. If your images are any bigger than 4000 pixels in any dimension or much over 3MB, please make the image smaller.
If you have a 35mm camera you have two options:
You can scan your photo at a high resolution. Please make sure the photo is scanned at a minimum of 200 DPI at a size of at least 1000 pixels in the larger dimension. The higher the quality, the better.
If you don't have a scanner you can get your photos developed and order a picture CD with your prints. This will give you a digital version of the image that you can upload.
Please remember that any photo you use must be your photo or one that you own all rights to. You can not scan photos from magazines or download them from websites and use them for television broadcast as this is illegal.

How do I get the commercial on TV?
We give you two options to get your commercial on TV. The first one is to buy your airtime through Commercial Creator. At the time of your order, you can tell us more about how you want to air your commercial. You aren't tied into buying any airtime, but we will contact you with more information including prices and plans. You can then go with us, or arrange for airtime elsewhere. While we have very competitive airtime rates, there is no obligation to go with us. You purchased your TV commercial from us, therefore you own it, not us. You can therefore air it however you would like.

Should I order a 30 second or 60 second commercial?
Most standard commercials are 30 seconds. However, if you are trying to sell a product in a mini-infomercial format a 60 second spot is recommended. This will be helpful to get all of necessary details including ordering information, payment options, and contact information to the consumer.
To order a 60 second commercial, chose from any of our packages and pick the add-on to double the length of your commercial to 60 seconds. All of our base package prices are based on 30 second commercials.

I want my company logo or personalized design to be incorporated into the commercial, is this possible?
Yes. If you want your logo to be used we allow you to upload an extra logo image at no extra charge. This is to allow you to use your logo in your titles only.
If you want your logo to take up the whole screen or want to create a personalized ordering screen, you can create this image and upload it in place of one of your package photos. So if your package includes 8 images, this full screen image will count toward those.
